GLOBAL EDUCATION AGORA: YOUTH’S STREET ACTION TO FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE 
GEA is a European project funded by the Erasmus + program and the Italian National Agency ( Agenzia Italiana per la Gioventù) under the KA220-YOU – Cooperation partnerships in youth.
Officine Cittadine is leading the project together with the Slovenian association Lojtra and the French association Climates. The project is the natural continuation of a previous strategic partnership and is part of a process to create a European GEA network.
GEA project aims to develop for the European Youth Workers community an innovative educational methods that combine the fields of non-formal and global education with street animation/education to attract and sensitize young people in the street about climate change and promote their involvement in local and sustainable initiatives.
The project started in march 2024 (up to february 2026) and the main activities are:
“Youth and Ecology” Research and preparation of an innovative approach to raise awareness among European youth
about Climate change.
– “The climate change Agora”, Creation, experimentation and development of the GEA street based education methods in the European street’s with youth.
– “Create two, three, many Climate Change Agora”, spreading the GEA methods and dissemination of project results’.
